Boavista is warm all year round and has very little rain. If there is any rain, it will likely be in August or September.
Temperatures rarely drop below 25° and rise to around 30° between April and September, dropping to around 28° from October to December. Inland the temperatures can be quite a lot higher.
Most of the time there is a refreshing breeze and, for the more advanced surfers a windy period from January to March.
