Santiago island enjoys hot weather all year round with long days of sunshine and temperatures ranging from around 24-30 degrees.
The rain season is August to October, when rainfall is heavy but brief and falls mainly inland and on the east coast. This is not a rainy season like other tropical countries, the rain here usually amounts to less than 25mm over the whole year!
